What is SAP Content Server?

SAP Content Server is provided by SAP and enables you to store scanned documents and files, such as attachments, as well as the storage of data archiving files, printlists and outgoing documents. 

SAP Content Server is available to download from the SAP market place and is quick and easy to implement. The documents and their links to SAP Business Objects can easilly be migrated from your 3rd party document management system in to SAP Content Server; enabling you to switch off legacy systems and stop paying the support and maintenance costs.

The savings generated by the migration of historical records in to SAP Content Server have enabled some of our customers to fund the implementation of our AP Automation solution. HMRC has previously provided dispensation to destroy the paper original if the image is stored in SAP Content Server, so the business case for legacy decommissionng is compelling.
